Data & Information Management

With the ability to implement department and agency wide management structures, we work with your team to set up a system tailored to your organization’s needs.

Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

CUI establishes the requirement of a program for managing all unclassified information in the Department that requires safeguarding or dissemination controls pursuant to, and consistent with applicable law, regulations, and government-wide policies. Zen Strategics offers management, planning, implementation, and administrative support for an agency’s CUI Program, offering planning and implementation of department-wide CUI infrastructure. We ensure these practices comply with federal policies and regulations, develop internal mechanisms to promote consistent CUI practices, train personnel on these practices, and develop automated solutions to identify, tag, and store CUI.

Records & Information Management (RIM)

RIM is the professional practice of managing the records of an organization throughout their lifecycle, from creation or receipt, to destruction or transfer. This includes identifying, classifying, storing, securing, retrieving, tracking and destroying, or permanently preserving records. Information Governance (IG) is the compiling of activities and technologies that organizations employ to maximize the value of their information while minimizing associated risks and costs. IG encompasses more than traditional records management, incorporating information security and protection, compliance, data governance, electronic discovery, risk management, privacy, data storage, and archiving. Zen Strategic’s subject matter experts are seasoned in managing business operations, IT, master data, enterprise architecture, business intelligence, data science, and finances.
